Jordan Adelson

Jordan is a director currently on tour in PwC’s National Professional Services – Accounting Services Group, a group which focuses on global consultations with domestic and international clients and engagement teams on a wide range of technical accounting matters. Jordan focuses primarily on real estate, leasing, consolidation and various transactional related accounting issues. He is also actively involved in following standard setting projects (i.e. leasing, consolidation, etc.), and authoring industry and firm thought leadership. In his role, Jordan directly assists and serves clients in the real estate industry on accounting issues and complex transactions.

Prior to his tour in the Accounting Services Group, Jordan was a member of the New York real estate assurance practice of PwC from October 2009 to June 2018. His clients included both public and private REITs, large institutional real estate investment advisors and funds, real estate owners / developers and residential / commercial property managers. Jordan is also the co-creator and editor of Current Developments for the Real Estate Industry; a nationally distributed publication providing perspective on the latest market and economic trends, regulatory activities and legislative changes affecting the real estate industry, as well as informed views of the most current developments in operations, business strategy, taxation, compliance and financing.

Jordan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters in Accounting and Information Analysis from Lehigh University, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
